“What an amazing way to memorialize a special moment. My daughter was turning 6. It was also time we got some family portraits. It’s a great way to celebrate intimately during COVID-19, but I think I would have done it anyway.

Julie is a trooper. It’s no simple task to take mermaid pictures next to the ocean and could be dangerous for people that don’t know what they are doing. Julie understands tides. She drove to the beach we wanted the day before and was honest about the dangers and was able to give us another beautiful option. She researched the weather and lighting. She’s punctual and ready to orchestrate this awesome experience. She’s our real Mermaid!”

“I LOVED the mermaid photoshoot I did with my daughter (age 3) and a friend — and the photos are darling! We met Jules at the beach and she instantly made us feel comfortable. The adults wore our own tops, and Jules provided the mermaid tails, jewelry (including super cute headbands!), and skin sparkles. Jules had kid-sized costumes — including a top and tail that was easy for my daughter to walk in. Once we were dressed and decorated, we went over to the rocks and water’s edge for some terrific photos! Jules had some suggestions for poses, and encouraged us to play around, too. I think this would be a terrific idea for anyone looking to feel glamorous — anything from a birthday party, bachelorette party, or even engagement photos. Thank you, Jules!”

She is very nice and has a bubbly personality! She lets you pick your tail, jewelry, and hair pieces from her collection, which was really cool and fun! She was great at suggesting the perfect beach for our photos and gave us plenty of direction as far as poses to do. Our pictures turned out beautiful and she edited them super quickly! We had the best time dressing up in beautiful mermaid/merman gear, including gorgeous tails and accessories. That part of the day was great fun in and of itself! Julie was so great with our kids! Her enthusiasm was contagious. She was professional, easy-going, and gave helpful direction. And the pictures are so beautiful! My husband was reluctant to don his tail at first, but in the end even he had fun! It’s not everyday you get to play mermaid family at the beach! We even purchased the tails our kids wore, so the mermaid fun continues at home! We will cherish these memories, and the photos, forever. I highly recommend booking a session!”

“When the photos arrived and we needed to choose which ones to keep, I struggled. Out of the 200 plus photos I picked 61 that I loved. I have never felt so beautiful and Jules had captured the joy of the whole experience. I never realized how much I wanted to be a mermaid up until that point! “I wanted to do something unusual for my mermaid-loving cousin who came to visit from out of state. Mermaid Memories was definitely it! Not only did we get some really fun photos, but the whole experience of choosing our tails and our various props was so much fun. We even got my male cousin in the photo (in a very macho way) and he loved it too. We loved this experience as adults — I can’t even imagine how much little girls would love this. And, what a great family photo or mother-daughter experience. I highly recommend. And, the owner, Julie, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.
